Liberata has been in partnership with Pendle Borough Council in Lancashire since 2005. We deliver a range services including revenues and benefits, fraud and error and customer services, alongside property services and regeneration programmes.

Since the start of the partnership, Liberata has helped Pendle Borough Council to reduce its budget deficit, improve staff engagement and retention and regenerate the local area, creating over 150 jobs. The collaboration has also helped Pendle Borough Council to boost its revenue collection capability. In partnership with Liberata, the council managed to achieve its highest ever percentage of business rates (99.1%) in 2015-16.

  • Built a new service centre and created a shared service centre

  • Increased levels of automation across all accounts with the introduction of e-billing and online Council Tax services
