Liberata achieve GOLD Stage 1 accreditation

Liberata has achieved the GOLD Stage 1 accreditation in the FAST Standard for Software Compliance.

Liberata were declared fully compliant on its software licences and it was felt that the correct policies and procedures are in place for this to remain the case. This followed an extensive process of analysis, measuring and recording of Liberata’s critical software by FAST (Federation Against Software Theft).  

Being awarded this accreditation is proof that Liberata own and have paid for all licences stored within the company, and includes monitoring usage, improved change control for deployment and allowing greater budgetary control and forecasting on software purchases.

John Tyreman, Liberata Director of Information Technology, said: “This is a tremendous achievement for the team, especially as we have been informed by FAST that we have passed this in a near record time, having only started the process last April.”
