Liberata successfully implements Agresso Financial System for the Local Government Association

March 16, 2009

Liberata have successfully implemented the Agresso Financial System for the Local Government Association (LGA). This is a key milestone in Liberata’s partnership with the LGA since the commencement of the contract in April 2008, and means that the LGA’s objectives of realising efficiency savings will be achieved.

John Ransford, LGA Chief Executive said: “Within the Partnership Agreement between Liberata and the LGA Group, a modern financial system was to be implemented in quarter 1 of 2009 that would enable the LGA Group to efficiently access its financial and performance information and reduce costs. I am delighted that Liberata has successfully implemented Agresso Business World on time and within the agreed cost. The LGA Group looks forward to benefiting further from Liberata’s investment in a modern ERP platform that operates in a dual shared service data-centre environment.”

This achievement is made even more significant due to the fact that this is the first instance of Agresso within Liberata, and is a clear demonstration of Liberata’s capability to implement I.T systems.

Richard Webster, Liberata Chief Executive Officer, said: “This achievement is testament to our ability to work as a team to deliver Service Excellence to our clients. We should be proud to have reaffirmed the LGA’s faith in Liberata as a trusted partner in helping them achieve their goals. We share a multi-dimensional partnership with the LGA and are at a very exciting stage in our relationship.”
