Liberata becomes SOLACE Gold Partner
July 18, 2008
On 2 July, Liberata's CEO Robert Gogel signed an agreement with The Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and Senior Managers (SOLACE) for Liberata to become their fifth and final gold partner.
The partnership will see Liberata benefiting from extended contact with Chief Executives and their Senior Managers which will provide us with a greater understanding of the needs and challenges of Local Government allowing us to provide a more beneficial service to current and potential clients.
Of particular interest is the shadowing scheme that SOLACE mediates – giving a great insight into the day to day workings of Local Authorities. ‘It is a great scheme,’ Gogel said. ‘I really benefited when I spent two days shadowing a Local Authority Chief Executive. I really think there is scope to extend the scheme both in terms of time and whom it is open to. I think people will really benefit from it.’
Awareness building is a particular attraction of the SOLACE business partnership scheme to Gogel. ‘I have a lot of time for this partnership. We have been a SOLACE silver partner since 2005. I am continually looking forward to meeting new people and Chief Executives. It really was a no-brainer for us to move up to gold partner.’
David Clark, Director General of SOLACE said: ‘Liberata is a good fit for SOLACE. The company is among the best respected outsourcing companies in the UK. We look forward to a lasting and enduring partnership and we welcome them as our final gold partner.
SOLACE set up its gold partner business partnerships with the private sector for the benefit of our members across the UK and the companies we have partnered. We learn from each other in a two-way process that meets the stringent professional codes of local government.’
